About Jake and Jo

Jake and Jo, LLC was founded in 2020 well over a year after the mom of 2 and inventor, Melanie McGonagle, thought up the idea of the No Heat Slide Seat. It took a while for a drawing on computer paper to become a child’s accessory for outdoor fun!

Since the start, we’ve carefully put together a company that not only provides the solution to a real problem families face everywhere, but also one which strives to give back to communities and families who need extra support.

Our company is a veteran owned family business. So, one of the non-profit organizations we donate to four times a year
